7th to 11th November 2018 saw the EIMA, one of the world's largest trade fairs dedicated to agricultural machinery, open its doors in Bologna (Italy). In total the show had 317,000 visitors, 11 % more than two years ago, thereof 50,000 persons travelled to Bologna from abroad. FELLA was there with the largest stand it has ever had at the EIMA, which attracted a great deal of interest among visitors.
The FELLA/LELY stand in hall 14 was in a highly visible position and showcased the group's huge range of green forage harvesting machinery.
Visitors were able to look at various different FELLA front-mounted and rear-mounted mowers, including the new RAMOS 2650 TLX-RC rear-mounted mower – a centrally hitched three-point mower with a working width of 2.60 metres, a roller conditioner and the tried-and-tested FELLA TurboLift system for a floating cut. The highlight of the TLX variant is that it folds vertically in its centre of gravity for transport, which causes less impact on the machine.
The 601 DN Alpine tedder and the trailed version with 13010 Trans transport chassis and a working width of almost 13 metres were displayed to represent the SANOS tedder range.
The JURAS 391 DN single-rotor rake with a working width of 3.80 metres and the JURAS 8055 PRO dual-rotor rake with central swath deposition (max. working width 8.00 metres, developed for extremely tough working conditions such as use in straw) completed the FELLA product range.
The LELY Welger RP 160 V, a variable round baler, and the Attis PT 130, a round bale wrapper, were also exhibited.
The international FELLA/LELY sales team is pleased and the team at FELLA is also celebrating a successful few days at the trade fair.
