This year, Austro Agrar Tulln 2018 took place from Wednesday 21st November to Saturday 24th November 2018. Over the last few years, the Austrian specialist trade fair for agricultural technology has developed into the leading trade fair in the agricultural sector for Austria and the eastern part of Central Europe. Spanning an area of 280 m², FELLA successfully presented a selection of its green forage harvesting technology.
During the trade fair, more than 57,000 visitors to Austro Agrar 2018 were able to get a good impression of the developments being made in the agricultural technology sector.
At the FELLA stand, interested visitors found a cross-section of the entire green forage harvesting range – for Austria, this obviously included mowers, tedders and rakes, which are ideal for mountainous terrain, alongside tools with larger working widths for use on larger areas of land.
The disc mowers on show included the RAMOS 3060 FP front-mounted mower with its new cover design and a working width of 3.00 m.
The RAMOS 3160 TLX-KC, a mower with central attachment point and tine-rotor conditioner for a floating cut, was also on display. The vertical transportation folding system on the TLX mower in the centre of gravity of the machine enables a vertical parking position and a better weight distribution of the entire tractor-machine ensemble while reducing the transport height at the same time.
The third disc mower was the RAMOS 911 TL-KC mower combination with a working width of 8.30 m and tine-rotor conditioner with excellent ground adaptation.
The SANOS 8608 DN three-point tedder with a working width of 8.60 m was also there and impressed visitors with its smooth running in any situation.
The rakes on display included the single-rotor rakes JURAS 351 DN with a working width of 3.80 m and the JURAS 456 DN with a working width of 4.50 m. The JURAS 801 rake with transport chassis, dual-rotor central windrow deposition and a working width of 6.80 to 7.60 m rounded off the green forage harvesting range.
The Austrian sales team is satisfied with the number of interested trade fair visitors and is looking forward to the upcoming 2019 harvesting season.
