Special features of the series
Short attachment
The most compact attachment possible optimises mower guiding and reduces the load for the tractor and mower. For the new FP machines, there are two different direct headstocks that have been adapted to the centre of gravity of each mower with or without conditioner.
OPTIMAL GROUND ADAPTATION
The pivot axle mounted at the centre of gravity ensures optimum ground adaptation (+/- 7.5°). A uniform cutter bar contact pressure can be set using the spring relief on the tractor.
Perfectly balanced
The integrated spring-centring system reliably prevents rocking even when driving quickly on roads. Positioning springs balance the cutter bar, thereby reducing the material load during transport and extending the service life.
DIRECT DRIVE
Simple and clear driveline via the drive shaft with overload protection and integrated freewheel in the gearbox. Counterclockwise or clockwise rotation can be achieved very easily by reversing the gear.
SIDE-LOCKING, FOLDING PROTECTIVE COVERS DESIGNED FOR OPTIONAL USE WITH A HYDRAULIC FOLDING SYSTEM
In order to comply with the transport width of 3 metres, the side guard cover can be folded. The design allows for optional use with a hydraulic side guard folding system, which reduces set-up and take-down times.
Simply conditioned
- The tine-rotor conditioner (KC) can be adjusted without tools into four counter-comb positions to set the work intensity – depending on the prevailing operating conditions
- The intensity of the roller conditioner (RC) is easily controlled via the spring tensioning force and the roller distance
- The swath board can quickly be adjusted to any swath width required without the need for tools.
Robust spur gear drive
The entire power train is designed to optimise use of the power with direct application of force on the first mower disc providing optimum cut quality and an even transmission of power whether the load application is high or low. Thanks to its low drag, the fuel consumption is significantly reduced even at high speeds.
The thick-walled material of the spur gear cutter bar is fully welded, while the cover and tank are joined by interlocking. The bar structure therefore stands out for its impressive strength and tightness and guarantees maximum stability and a long service life. The absence of screws means the crop flow is not impeded.
The large-dimension, tempered drive and mower pinion are arranged in a line and contribute to the impressively smooth running and low-noise operation. Numerous points of intervention guarantee high functional reliability
